• Young Anna young princess of Arendelle filled with energy and joy Must be a strong singer with good comedic timing Will be featured in the first half of the musical and in the Jr Ensemble
• Middle Anna young princess of Arendelle in her youth, filled with energy and joy. Must be a strong singer with good comedic timing. Will be featured in the first half of the musical, and in the ensemble the second half.
• Anna A loving and strong princess of Arendelle. We’re looking for a strong singer and actress, able to show chemistry with Elsa, Kristoff, Hans, and the rest of the ensemble.
• Young Elsa The elder Princess of Arendelle in her childhood. Very loving of Anna, this actress must show a strong range of emotions on stage. Will be featured in the first half of the musical, and in the Jr. Ensemble.
• Middle Elsa The elder Princess of Arendell in her youth. Very loving of Anna, this actress must show a strong range of emotions on stage. Will be featured in the first half of the musical, and in the ensemble the second half.
• Elsa Next in line for the throne, Elsa has been born with magical powers that can overwhelm her when she becomes afraid and harm others if not handled with care. Fearful of hurting anyone, especially her beloved sister, Anna, Elsa becomes anxious and withdrawn as she grows older, before eventually learning to take control of, and become confident in, her powers which she masterfully uses to manipulate the Snow Chorus.
• King Agnarr The warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle is committed to protecting both his family and the Townspeople from his eldest daughters powers Not much singing required were looking for a strong paternal figure Sings no solo
• Queen Iduna Caring Queen of Arendelle and daughter of the Northern Nomads this queen must be able portray compassion for Elsa and motherly care Sings
• Pabbie Pabbie and Bulda are the mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who have a soft spot for Kristoff Sing
• Bulda Pabbie and Bulda are the mystical leaders of the Hidden Folk who have a soft spot for Kristoff Sing
• Bishop The bishop officiates the coronation and passing of the crown to Elsa This spiritual supervisor must communicate to the Townspeople of Arendelle in a serious and formal manner No singing
• Kristoff Kristoff is a hardworking ice harvester Kristoff has a sarcastic veneer and a rough-around-the-edges exterior that hides a big heart Just a few short singing solos were looking for a performer with a cynical sense of humor and charming banter Sing
• Sven Sven is a reindeer of few words fiercely loyal pal to Kristoff and loves giving the ice harvester a hard time We need an actor with good comic timing and terrific physical acting skills who can devise a strong movement vocabulary to bring this furry charmer to life Can be either gender Sing a little
• Hans The ambitious Prince of the Southern Isles and overlooked thirteenth son of a king Were looking for an actor who can play both sides of this two-faced prince with relish as well as confidently sing the moments of harmony in Love is an Open Door
• Weselton A visiting duke or duchess who possesses a huge inferiority complex A bombastic overbearing sycophant Weseltons sole purpose is to hobnob with influencers and royalty Were looking for an actor who can portray the narrow-minded naysayer with over-the-top gusto No singing
• Olaf The magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young Olaf is endearingly delighted by everything - especially the idea of summer Goofy and sweet Olaf should possess a childlike innocence and excellent comic timing Sing
• Oaken - An exceedingly cheerful and convivial wandering salesperson and ardent devotee to all things cozy and comfortable Oaken has a showstopping song
• Ensemble Ensemble Roles include rolls that support the story without the burden of a ton of lines. These characters will still have individual lines and sing as the chorus in each song. These rolls include: Townspeople, Hidden Folk, Housekeeper, Butler, Handmaiden, Cook, Steward, Oaken's Family. This musical also features a Snow Chorus/Summer Chorus of dancers to create the effect of Elsa’s magic. We’re looking for strong dancers who can create a magical effect on stage together.
• Jr. Ensemble Elementary age students participating will be cast in one musical number and the finale. They will have a different schedule that will be announced very soon. It will be limited rehearsals that are age appropriate in preparation to blend into the big cast.
• Snow Chorus/Dance Troupe This musical also features a Snow Chorus of dancers to create the effect of Elsa’s magic. We’re looking for strong dancers who can create a magical effect on stage together.
