What To Know About This Production
Few days are more important in Americaโs 250 years than September 11, 2001, and Come From Away does something remarkable with that history. It asks us to witness the humanity that rose in response. Set in the days after 9/11, the musical tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers unexpectedly grounded in Gander, Newfoundland, and the small town that opened its homes, schools, and hearts to them. What unfolds is funny, generous, deeply emotional, and quietly thrilling: a story about strangers becoming neighbors, fear giving way to compassion, and ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
