  • Larry Male, 20s-30s, Tenor, Strong Dancer Larry is Zachs assistant choreographer, serving as a bridge between the intimidating director and the vulnerable dancers Unlike Zach, Larry interacts directly with the performers in a more supportive and approachable manner He demonstrates choreography, organizes the line, and manages the auditions pacing His presence is practical yet reassuring, a counterbalance to Zachs distant and probing personality Can be cast as Female (Lori)
  • Cassie Ferguson Female, 30s, Mezzo-Soprano, E3-C5, Strong Dancer (Solos) A former featured dancer struggling to return to the chorus after failed attempts at solo success She carries baggage from her past romantic connection with Zach, and performs the demanding dance and vocal solo The Music and the Mirror
