About The Studio Stoic Theatre
Stoic Theatre was founded in 2024 at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. It stages about five shows per year, including a musical and a children’s play. Most performers are college-aged students, though professionals are also involved.
The company’s mission aligns with UST’s Catholic intellectual tradition—fostering critical thinking, ethical leadership, and artistic excellence.
Performances take place at Jones Hall on the UST campus and at the Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston (MATCH).
