SoundBone Media is the studio of multimedia, multigenre artists and life partners Barbaria Maria and Kathryn Robyn. We have been strictly local, but are in the process of creating an online presence.
We make books, digital and real visual art, music, and live theatre. Recently, Barbaria exhibited her films and soundscape, "Celestial Earth: We are here but when?" at the Versant Astronomy Center Planetarium in Orono, Maine, and her paintings at the Belfast Free Library. Currently, Robyn is making original theatre using an original script and score that will be heavily affected by a Six Viewpoints–improvisational rehearsal method.
Currently in development, a team of three co-creators (Robyn along with Deb Marchan Hensley-music director, and Emily Elizabeth Whitman- creative producer) is preparing for a series of showcases leading to the full production of STEPS: The Musical!
