About The Studio Hanover Park District Spotlight Youth Theater
HP Spotlight is a youth theater program proudly rooted in the Hanover Park Park District, offering performers ages 6–18 a place to truly belong. We believe theater is more than memorizing lines, it's a safe space to find yourself, experiment boldly, and explore who you're becoming.
Founded in 2023, we've produced 8 full-scale musicals in our black box theater, from The Little Mermaid Jr. to Frozen Jr. We stage about 3 shows a year and growing every season. Our kids aren't just putting on a show; they're building confidence, finding their voice, and making friendships that last.
