About The Studio Seedling Theatre
Through the joy of magic of theatre, Seedling creates a safe and inclusive space where every voice is empowered to shine. Our values are Theatre, Safety, Respect, Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Joy.
Seedling Theatre began in 2009 with a simple Christmas show and a big dream: to create a space where people of all abilities could experience the joy of live theatre. Since then, we’ve grown to offer summer camps, workshops, and our Seedling Encore program for adults with special needs.
What started as a small stage has become a lifeline for many families in McLean County. Parents and peers alike have seen performers discover confidence, independence, and friendships that last long after the curtain falls.
Our performances are all at First Christian Church in Bloomington, IL. They have been amazing to us for many years and allowing us to use their space! We are so grateful for the partnership we have created with them!
