This summer, Summer Musical Enterprise invites you to journey somewhere over the rainbow with a bold and beautiful new production of The Wizard of Oz, performed live at the spectacular Moss Arts Center.
Torn from her Kansas farmhouse by a twister, Dorothy Gale finds herself in the dazzling, dangerous land of Oz. Alongside a brainless Scarecrow, a heart-hungry Tin Man, and a Lion in search of courage, she sets off down the Yellow Brick Road to find her way home. But the Wicked Witch has other plans...
Featuring a cast of over 60 talented local performers, breathtaking choreography, and a full live orchestra, this is Oz as you’ve never seen it: vivid, heartfelt, and bursting with theatrical magic. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering it for the first time, this production will remind you why there's truly no place like home.

- Munchkins The little people of Munchkinland. Long oppressed, and happy to be freed, the Munchkins will (mostly) be played by children. Group singing and coordinated movement required. Dance experience a plus. There are some featured roles among the munchkins, such as The Coroner, The Lollipop Guild, and The Lullaby League.
- Poppies trained dancers who will be used in several big, Broadway style musical numbers. There are solo and small group roles within the Dance Ensemble. We are seeking dancers with ballet/tap/jazz training.

- Ozians versatile dancers/singers/character actors who will step into iconic featured parts and fun, fantastical roles. There are roles within the ensemble for strong singers, strong dancers, and strong comic actors, but no one person needs to have all the skills!
