What To Know About This Production
Cut off from the outside world and shunned by all who know its sinister reputation, Hill House has remained empty and silent. Its isolation is broken by the arrival of Dr. Montague, an investigator of supernatural phenomena. His mission is to delve into the morbid history of the house and to come to grips with the occult forces that have made it uninhabitable for many years. He is joined by three others, all unacquainted, but all having their particular reasons for accepting an invitation to Hill House. Their visit is soon jolted by strange and eerie occurrences. As they struggle to disguise their mounting fears, the supernatural and evil forces of Hill House are goaded to a new and fatal fury.
Performed at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville, Texas. GTW's production will be set in the round with the spooky vibes all around the audience and the cast. If you've ever wanted to dive into the paranormal and discover if ghosts truly exist, then this is the production for you.

Characters
- Eleanor Vance Female, early 20s - late 30s. A confused, afraid, and gentle young woman. Previously served as her mother’s caretaker, is now at Hill House for reasons she has yet to disclose.
- Theodora Female, early 20s - Late 30s. Light-hearted and open-minded. She is believed to have a psychic sensitivity which Dr. Montague hopes will deepen his understanding of Hill House. She is free, bold, and open.
- Mrs. Dudley Female, mid 30+. The housekeeper and cook at Hill House. She keeps a safe distance from Hill House and is very proud of this boundary.
- Mrs. Montague Female, mid 30s - 70s. She has her own ideas about the paranormal presence at Hill House and little regard for her husband’s methods or companions. She only trusts her companion Arthur Parker and is determined to get to the bottom of the goings on at Hill House using her own methods.
- Dr. Montague Male, late 30s - 60s. An anthropologist with a belief in parapsychology. He has rented Hill House for the summer to further his studies away from the judgmental eyes of his colleagues. He is protective of the people he has invited to Hill House but is determined to learn its secrets.
- Luke Sanderson Male, mid 20s- late 30s. A young man who is a member of the family that owns Hill House. He is sharp and has a charm about him—in another world he might be unlikable but there is something to him that seems fun and humorous.
- Arthur Parker Male, mid 30+. Mrs. Montague’s traveling companion. He is a brash, imposing man who only listens to Mrs. Montague.
