Join Burnie Musical Society as we bring the uplifting, hilarious, and heartwarming musical Sister Act to the stage!
Based on the beloved film, Sister Act follows nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier as she is placed in protective custody inside a convent after witnessing a crime. Struggling to fit into convent life, Deloris soon discovers an unexpected community of friendship, faith, and belonging. With a little soul, a lot of music, and plenty of laughter, she transforms the convent choir and inspires everyone around her to find their voice.
Packed with powerful vocals, energetic dance numbers, larger-than-life characters, and a score by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, Newsies), Sister Act is a feel-good musical celebration that offers something for performers of all ages and experience levels.
