What To Know About This Production
The One Act program will include the following 10 Minute plays:
- Spoon by Joey Faggion - In the land of Spisoon, no one has a spoon to lift soup to their face. A young inventor is determined to solve the problem.
- Baggage by James McLindon - an airline passenger loses his luggage and maybe his mind.
- Run by Garth Wingfield - A man and woman meet at a dog run. They meet the dog run coordinator.
- Blind Date by Samara Siskind - A woman agrees to a blind date. Her date has a few surprises.
- Please Have a Seat, Someone Will be with You Shortly - Garth Wingfield - Two clients meet in the counseling waiting room.
We are looking for actors age 18+ with playable ages up to 75 yrs. These plays offer some flexibility in age and gender casting. Improvisational skills are also appreciated for some roles. It's possible that an actor can be cast in more than one play. All of these shows are comedies.

What To Expect At Auditions

A cold reading will follow. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. People will be called in groups of 4. We are casting for 5 plays - Plan to stay for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. for multiple pairings.

- MAYOR TROUBLE FEMALE - In the play, Spoon - The Mayor of a neighboring land of Tax-Evasia She is an imposing figure Also motivated by greed
- AGENT 1 MALE - In the play, Baggage - A European Baggage Claim worker in a foreign airport, 20s-60s Speaks English, and an improvised foreign language
- TRAVELER 1 ADULT, ANY AGE or GENDER - In the play, Baggage - A traveler who has lost their luggage and needs assistance
- AGENT 2 FEMALE - In the play, Baggage - A European Baggage Claim Worker in a foreign airport 20s- 60s Speaks English and an improvised foreign language
- SCOUTS OWNER MALE, 30s - In the play, Run - Well dressed, preppy type at the dog park
- STEVENS OWNER FEMALE, 30s - In the play, Run - A little too friendly at the dog park Can seem awkward and anxious
- HELEN FEMALE - 40s up -In the play, Run - Very responsible dog run coordinator Deliberate and rules oriented
- MARCIA FEMALE - 20s - In the play, Blind Date - Pretty, a little mousey and shy Hasnt had much experience with men
- TED MALE - 20s - In the play, Blind Date - Not particularly attractive but not unattractive Seemingly sweet and honorable A real gentleman with a British Accent
