Auditions For Hadestown Teen Edition
What To Expect At Auditions
You must prepare a verse and chorus of an contemporary indie-folk song that shows the range of your voice well.
Auditions will happen in groups of up to 10 people in time-slots that are 20 minutes each. Please sign up for a specific slot that you can make with your schedule.

Available Roles
- Hermes Greek god, narrator of the show, and guardian of Orpheus
- Orpheus A naive, idealistic, and deeply passionate young musician He is writing a song that will fix what is broken with the world, and falls in love with Eurydice
- Eurydice A sharp, self-reliant young woman who has survived in a harsh world She love Orpheus and believes in him, but falls prey to Hades promises
- Hades The king of the Underworld He is powerful , imposing, and controlling He harnesses his frustrations with his wife (Persephone) into his work
- Persephone The queen of Spring and wife of Hades She is vibrant and free-spirited, and loves the natural world She loves Hades, but not what he has become
- The Fates 3 Female goddesses who whisper fatalism into the minds of humans, and eventually are the ones who cut the lifeline of those up above
- The Worker Ensemble This ensemble represents the poverty-stricken people up above and the eternal-suffering workers in Hadestown
