Join Alderley & Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company for an evening of unforgettable songs from some of the best-loved films ever made – and the stage shows they inspired. From golden-age classics to modern favourites, this lively showcase features iconic numbers you’ll know and love, alongside a few hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

Performed by the talented cast of AWMTC, this production is a joyful journey through cinema and musical theatre, packed with show-stopping vocals, toe-tapping choreography and plenty of heart.

All proceeds from the show will go towards supporting the society, helping AWMTC continue bringing high-quality amateur musical theatre to the local community.

Whether you’re a lifelong theatre fan, a film lover, or simply looking for a fantastic night out, From Screen to Stage promises entertainment from the first note to the final curtain call.

What To Expect At Auditions

Auditions are relaxed and in front of everyone. We support and encourage you along the way so you don't need to be nervous.

All you need to do is choose a song that fits the theme of From Screen to Stage, and sing it at the audition.

You won't necessarily be allocated the song you audition with. The auditions are to hear your voice and ensure you're given the appropriate songs to sing that suit your voice and performance style.

Auditions are held at Lostock Hall Primary School, Poynton, SK12 1XG. Saturday 14 March from 10am.
