What To Know About This Production

Music and Lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez
Book by Jennifer Lee

The beloved animated phenomenon that captured the hearts of audiences worldwide has been reimagined in a spectacular new stage production. Featuring all the cherished songs from the Academy Award-winning film — including "Let It Go," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman," and "For the First Time in Forever" — alongside stunning new music written exclusively for the stage, Disney's Frozen is a theatrical experience unlike any other. In the majestic kingdom of Arendelle, sisters Anna and Elsa share an unbreakable bond — until Elsa's mysterious magical powers force her to shut the world out, leaving Anna alone and longing for connection. When Elsa's abilities are finally revealed and she flees into the icy mountains, an eternal winter descends on Arendelle. Determined to save her kingdom and her sister, the fearless and irrepressibly optimistic Anna embarks on an epic adventure — joined by the rugged ice harvester Kristoff, his devoted reindeer Sven, and the irresistibly lovable snowman Olaf. Breathtaking, funny, and deeply moving, Frozen is an epic tale of sisterhood, self-acceptance, and the transformative power of love in all its forms.

FROZEN is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

Auditions For Disney's Frozen

What To Expect At Auditions

The Milburn Stone Theatre is looking for performers for its upcoming production of Disney's Frozen.

Please prepare a song (approximately 32 bars, or 60–90 seconds of music) in the style of the show. Songs from the show are welcome but not required. We're looking for songs that showcase your vocal range and understanding of the style.

To listen to the original cast recording, please click this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHO4EAS1RQc&list=PLaHwSBnw447omnFYnBofQmUisQkF16Q7U&index=7

An accompanist will be provided for your audition, and their use is highly encouraged. If you choose not to use the provided accompanist, you must bring a backing track (without vocals) to play during your performance. Amplification will not be provided, and playing backing tracks off a cell phone (without proper additional amplification) is strongly discouraged.

Auditions will be held at Milburn Stone Theatre on Cecil College's North East Campus, located at 1 Seahawk Dr. North East, MD 21901

Those submitting a video audition have until Monday, October 19th at 5 pm and can do so via Cast98. In-person auditions are highly encouraged.

Callbacks for Frozen will be held on Wednesday, October 20th. Callback notifications will be sent out the evening of Tuesday, October 19th.

Rehearsals for Frozen will begin in late October/early November. Rehearsals will be based on both performer and production staff availability, so please submit all known conflicts at the time of auditions. The Milburn Stone Theatre traditionally rehearses two to four times a week. Cecil College will be closed November 25th through 29th in observance of Thanksgiving, December 25th through January 3rd in observance of the Holiday Season, and January 17th & 18th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Tech week for Frozen will be held Sunday, February 22nd, through Thursday, February 25th. No conflicts will be accepted between those dates, as they will be considered mandatory.
