What do you get when a nervous tailor befriends a lion? One very awkward trip to the Roman arena. In this witty comedy, George Bernard Shaw mixes clever satire with laugh-out-loud moments as a simple act of kindness turns into the most unexpected reunion imaginable.

No prior experience or preparation is necessary. Auditionees will read parts aloud from the script. We are looking for people who can be vocally, facially and physically expressinvce and confident.

- The Captain A Roman officer who admires Lavinia and tries to convince her to sacrifice to the gods so he can save her
- Ferrovius A massive Christian convert who struggles to contain his violent, fierce temper
- Megaera Androcles nagging and superstitious wife who abandons him
- Caesar The vain and dramatic Roman Emperor
- Spintho A cowardly Christian who tries to save himself but gets eaten first
