What To Know About This Production

Inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley®

It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

NATALIE HALLER (Early 20’s): a mechanic. (Alto)
CHAD: a great-lookin’, motorcycling, guitar-playing, leather-jacketed roustabout. (Baritone)
JIM HALLER (mid 40’s-50’s): Natalie’s widowed father. (Bariton)
SYLVIA (mid 40’s): the no-nonsense owner of SYLVIA’S HONKY-TONK. (Alto-Soprano)
LORRAINE: Sylvia’s 16 year-old daughter. (Alto)
DENNIS: a young, awkward, aspiring dentist. (Tenor)
MISS SANDRA: the beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town’s museum. (Alto)
MAYOR MATILDA HYDE (mid 40’s-50’s): the town’s conservative mayor. (Alto)
DEAN HYDE: Matilda’s 16 year-old son. He has grown up at a military boarding school. (Tenor)
SHERIFF EARL (mid 40’s-50’s): the law in town. A man of not many words. (Baritone)
